Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi and stay for two nights.
Day 02: Delhi
Enjoy a full days sightseeing tour of the historical city of Delhi, beginning in the wide avenues of New Delhi, to see Lutyen’s buildings and the India gate memorial, along with the impressive tomb of Humayan and Qutab Minar, the bustling and vibrant streets of Old Delhi to see the Jama Masjid and Rajghat, the Samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi.
Day 03: Delhi – Sawai Madhopur – Ranthambhore
At noon, transfer to railway station to board train to Sawai Madhopur. Met on arrival and transfer to Ranthambhore (by jeep) for 2 nights’ stay.
Over next two days enjoy three safaris in the park.
Day 04: Ranthambhore
Enjoy morning and afternoon park safari in the Ranthambhore National Park.
Day 05: Ranthambhore – Bharatpur
Enjoy another safari in the morning.
After lunch drive to Bharatpur (5-6 hrs) for 2 night stay.
Day 06: Bharatpur
Enjoy rickshaw ride in Bharatpur (Keoladeo National Park is an UNESCO site and famous as a bird Sanctuary).
Later drive to Fatehpur Sikri to see the abandoned capital of Emperor Akbar.
Return back to Bharatpur. Enjoy one more safari in the park in evening.
Day 07: Bharatpur – Agra
Optional: Another rickshaw ride in Bharatpur . After leisurely breakfast, drive to Agra (1 hr). Check-into hotel. Afternoon, visit taj Mahal and Agra Fort.
Day 08: Agra – Jhansi – Orchha
Transfer to railway station in the morning. Board Shatabdi Expree / Gatimaan Express to Jhansi. Met on arrival and transfer to Orchha (30 min) (famous temple town). In the afternoon, visit the temples of Orchha.
Day 09: Orchha – Khajuraho
After breakfast, drive to Khajuraho (3-4 hrs). Stay in a hotel for the night. In the afternoon, visit the famous western group of temples of Khajuraho. Optional: Sound & light show at direct payment.
Day 10: Khajuraho – Bandhavgarh
After breakfast drive to Bandhavgarh National Park (approx. 6 hrs). Stay in Bandhavgarh for 2 nights. Bandhavgarh is home to spotted deers, blackbuck, wold oxen, sloth bear, nilgai, barking deer, leopard and tiger. The rich and varied birdlife include golden orioles, parakeets, hornbills and partridges. In the afternoon you will enjoy a jeep safari in the park.
Day 11: Bandhavgarh
Enjoy morning and afternoon jeep safaris today. With a high density of Tiger in Bandhavgarh, the opportunities of sightings are good.
Day 12: Bandhavgarh – Kanha
After breakfast drive to Kanha National Park (approx. 6 hrs) (another park famous for Royal Bengal Tigers). Stay in Kanha for 2 nights. In the afternoon you will enjoy a jeep safari in the park.
Day 13: Kanha
Enjoy morning and afternoon jeep safaris today.
Day 14: Kanha – Pench
After breakfast drive to Pench (6 hrs), 3rd national park in the central India and last one on your trip. Stay in Pench for 2 nights. In the afternoon you will enjoy a jeep safari in the park.
Day 15: Pench
Enjoy morning and afternoon jeep safaris today.
Day 16: Pench – Nagpur – Mumbai
After breakfast, you will drive to Nagpur airport (2 hrs)to board your flight to Mumbai and connect with your flight to onward destination.
