Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi and stay for two nights at The Imperial Hotel
Day 02: Delhi
Enjoy a full days sightseeing tour of the historical city of Delhi, beginning in the wide avenues of New Delhi, to see Lutyen’s buildings and the India gate memorial, along with the impressive tomb of Humayan and Qutab Minar.
Afternoon you will visit the bustling and vibrant streets of Old Delhi to see the Jama Masjid and Rajghat, the resting place (Samadhi) of Mahatma Gandhi.
Day 03: Delhi – Sawai Madhopur – Ranthambhore
At noon, transfer to railway station to board train to Sawai Madhopur. Met on arrival and transfer to Ranthambhore (30-40 min by jeep) for 2 nights’ stay at Sujan Sherbagh. Over next two days enjoy three safaris in the park.
Day 04: Ranthambhore
Enjoy morning and afternoon park safari in the Ranthambhore National Park.
Day 05: Ranthambhore – Jaipur
Enjoy another safari in the national park in the morning.
Later drive to Jaipur (4 hr). Stay for two nights at Sujan Raj Mahal
Day 06: Jaipur
Today morning you will visit the impressive Amber fort – which is accessed on elephant’s back.
Afternoon visit the sights of Jaipur including the City Palace, Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), Jantar Mantar and the Museum.
Day 07: Jaipur – Jodhpur
Drive to Jodhpur today (approx. 6 hr). Stay for two nights at Jodhpur.
Day 08: Jodhpur
Visit the imposing Mehranagarh Fort and Jaswant Thada today.
(Optional: jeep safari to Bishnoi villages)
Day 09: Jodhpur – Jaisalmer
Drive further west to the heart of Thar Desert (approx. 5-6 hr) for two nights in enchanting city of Jaisalmer. Stay at Jaisalmer.
Day 10: Jaisalmer
Today morning enjoy a sightseeing of Jaisalmer, including the Fort, Gadisar Lake, intricately carved Haveli and Jain temple.
Afternoon enjoy a camel ride into the sand dunes to witness sun set against the desert backdrop.
Day 11: Jaisalmer – Rohet (Khandi)
After breakfast, drive to Rohet (Khandi Village) (6-7 hrs) for a night stay at Mihirgarh.
Day 12: Rohet (Khandi) – Jawai Bandh
After breakfast, drive to Jawai (approx. 3 hr) for 2 night stay at Sujan Jawai.
Day 13: Jawai Bandh
Day at leisure to enjoy hotel facilities and activities. Jawai is famous for leopard sighting in wilderness and birding.
Day 14: Jawai Bandh – Udaipur – Delwara
Drive to Udaipur (approx. 3-4 hr). Visit sights of Udaipur – including City Palace, Jagannath temple and Sahelion-ki-bari (Garden of Maids).
Evening enjoy a boat ride in Lake Pichola.
Later drive to Delwara (1 hr) and stay at Raas Devigarh for 2 night.
Day 15: Delwara
After breakfast, proceed for excursion to Eklingji & Nagada Temples.
Afternoon at leisure.
Day 16: Delwara – Udaipur Airport
After a leisurely morning, you will be transferred to Udaipur airport (1 hr) to board your return flight.
