Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive Udaipur
Arrive Udaipur airport. Transfer to your hotel for 2 night stay.
In the evening, enjoy the boat ride at Lake Pichola.
Day 02: Udaipur
Visit sights of Udaipur – including City Palace, Jagdish temple and Sahelion-ki-bari (Garden of Maids).
Afternoon at leisure.
Day 03: Udaipur – Sardargarh
After breakfast, drive to Sardargarh (2-3 hr + time to visit temples). Visit Eklingji, Nagada and Nathdwara Temples en-route.
Day 04: Sardargarh
Day at leisure to enjoy rural surroundings. Optional activities includes Rural train ride, village walk, sundowners by the lake, night jeep safari.
Day 05: Sardargarh – Narlai
Drive to Narlai in the morning (2 hrs). Remainder of the day at leisure to enjoy rural surroundings.
Option activities includes Leopard search safari, Rural train ride, diner at a stepbell etc
Day 06: Narlai – Ranakpur – Rohet
After breakfast, drive to Rohet (4-5 hr, including time to visit Ranakpur Temples).
En route visit the intricately carved Jain temples at Ranakpur.
Stay at Rohetgarh for 2 night.
Day 07: Rohet
In the morning, you will enjoy a visit to Bishnoi village.
Afternoon at leisure. Optional activities are horse riding, cookery demonstration etc.
Day 08: Rohet – Jodhpur – Osian / Manvaar
After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur (1 hr) to see the imposing Mehranagarh Fort and Jaswant Thada.
Later drive further to Osian / Manvaar (2-3 hr) for a night in Desert Camp.
Day 09: Osian / Manvaar – Jaisalmer
Drive for about 3 hr further west to the heart of Thar Desert for two nights in enchanting city of Jaisalmer.
Day 10: Jaisalmer
Today morning enjoy a sightseeing of Jaisalmer, including the Fort, Gadisar Lake, intricately carved Haveli and Jain temple.
Afternoon enjoy a camel ride into the sand dunes to witness sun set against the desert backdrop.
Day 11: Jaisalmer – Nagaur
Drive to Nagaur (6 hrs) for a night in sleepy Rajasthan village which still maintains the old world charm.
Remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 12: Nagaur – Jaipur
After leisurely breakfast, drive to Jaipur (5 hrs) for 2 night stay.
Day 13: Jaipur
Today morning you will visit the impressive Amber fort – which is accessed on elephant’s back.
Afternoon visit the sights of Jaipur including the City Palace, Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), Jantar Mantar and the Museum.
Day 14: Jaipur – Agra
Drive to Agra visiting the deserted Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri en route (6-7 hr including sightseeing).
Day 15: Agra – Delhi
Visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort and Taj Mahal in the morning.
Later drive to Delhi (3-4 hr) for 2 night stay.
Day 16: Delhi
Enjoy a full days sightseeing tour of the historical city of Delhi, beginning in the wide avenues of New Delhi, to see Lutyen’s buildings and the India gate memorial, along with the impressive tomb of Humayan and Qutab Minar.
Afternoon you will visit the bustling and vibrant streets of Old Delhi to see the Jama Masjid and Rajghat, the resting place (Samadhi) of Mahatma Gandhi.
Day 17: Leave Delhi
